DESIGNING A CLASS POSTER

Overview

At the beginning of Spring of 2018, I was contacted by Chris Peterson –Senior Assistant Director in the MIT Admissions Department–  to design the course poster for a new class that would start being offered in the Spring. It needed to be eye-catching but at the same time informative so that students walking rapidly through The Infinite.

Lessons Learned

This was the first time that I was creating something with direct feedback from a group of people of an important department. It was not easy and quite time-consuming since I had to submit a lot of different versions, following closely the feedback that I received every time I showed my progress, in order to deliver the best poster design that would align with the course administrators' desires. However, I finally submitted the final version and they loved it to the point that this poster, with some minor changes, is still on display!
